Q: What kind of surfaces can it be attached to?How is it attached? How long are the towel arms? Do the towel arms swing out? How deep are the attachment brackets, i.e., how far are the bars from the surface the ladder is attached to?

A: What kind of surfaces can it be attached to? This is recommanded for Dry wall, this can be used for tile but tile anchors would need to be purchased seperately. How is it attached? They are screwed into the wall with 4 2" long screws How long are the towel arms? Each towel arm is 10-1/2" long How deep are the attachment brackets: The projection is 2-1/2"
